“Good writers know how to do two very different things equally well – write like a writer and think like one.” – Anne Bernays
The baby girl was sitting quietly at the corner with her crayons and blank papers. Unlike other talented babies around her, she can neither draw nor color. She can only illustrate with her language using words.
_________
I want to write.
Wanna? Want to / nah.
To want. Go on. To-go on
Knowledge is Power wanting. More.
Need to-go. To move on to
Master of Time run. Need to run into writing.
Things come and go. Come again?
Becoming the observed, and also the observer.
_________
She realized she has to make mistakes, but the adults do not need to see them. It’s only that she has to learn from them.
She grew curious. She searches for more colors to add to her crayon collection, and she gathers more blank papers after hours watching others doing such wonderful pictures.
Then she grew tired. She holds back. She sucks her bottle of milk, one gulp at a time, and begins illustrating her pictures.
She’s all grown-up now, but she’s still going on.
And so, it goes / it’s still is – to be, to come in-to, to present, insofar as she has been writing on on writing.
