On one Wednesday afternoon, Sean was hanging out in the school library when he saw Saluna walking in through the front door, carrying her "I Am A Student" account pressed tightly in her hand. He shoveled his English books aside, clenching his fists on the table, utterly disgusted by her struts; and those sunglasses she always have on her face!

"You, again." He muttered under his breath. Her turned her head towards him. Taking off her glasses slowly, she kept her eyes away from his and said, "Whatever you think, boy, I don't care."

She sashayed her way towards his table, still listening to whatever she has on her earphones, as if without a care in the world. Then she dropped her backpack at the opposite end of his table. His eyes staring at the avoiding eyes darting from place to place, as if it's a show right there playing before him. How much longer can she last? The thought passed him by as he was watching her unpack her bag. Her face was expressionless. Casually, she put down her books, along with her account, in a very organized fashion.

"Denial," he muttered again, shaking his head in disbelief.
"No, Sean, I just don't like to see popular jocks like you messing around the schoolground with all your stunts. I'd rather keep my own stuff to myself. At least I don't walk around and dress like you and say look at me! Look at me! I'm not like you, my friend," said Saluna, stroking her long, black hair as she speaks. Never a minute did she stop to look up from her books as she speaks, scanning the words from left to right with every strand falling on her face.

He's perspiring. His fists went numb. He couldn't stand her any longer. Why won't she just admit how vulnerable she truly is?

He moved his hand forward and pinched her left cheek.

"Ow! What was that for?" she exclaimed, finally looking into his eyes.

"You're irresistable." Shortly after, he quickly regret what he just said. He simply just couldn't keep up with her act anymore. Or was it his own act?

Back to Hillsensky neighborhood, where the Sun will always shine.

Sunset boulevard
Don’t fade away
Let’s take a walk in the dark
Sunset boulevard
Let’s make belief
All the water was written in your heart

Later that evening, Reed was out in his balcony, listening to his trance music as usual, spacing out in the cold night air in heavy, heavy smokes. Then he saw a figure coming from the West end, walking briskly right on Sunset Boulevard. He can make out the svelte shadow moving so much in tune with whatever's playing in her earphones. Saluna's home!

Black or white?
Will you look at what we were?
Whether wrong or right
No one can tell

Whatever it takes
The reason to believe you
I won’t let go
Holding onto innocent meaning
Near or far
It’ll always lead to us
Whether high or low
We carry on

He quickly shoved away his cigarette. What do you know! With her supersensitive cognitive powers, her ESP, she looked up to her neighbor's balcony. "Hey Reed! How's it going?"
"Good, good... What you've been up to?"
"Oh, just back from the library, working on my mid-term project... Urgh! I just hate math! Really, really tough to see the volume of the sphere though..."
"You want some help? C'mere," he said, inviting his dream girl to his home for the first time.
"Sorry, not tonight, dear... My mom's cooking a special dinner tonight. My brothers are coming back to town... But I can drop by your place tomorrow!" She said cheerily.
"Right. So what time, my lady?"
"Is 5 good for you? Just before sundown!"
"What about later? At night?"
"Why? What's wrong with 5?"
"No reason. Well, just so you know, tomorrow night is the full moon. You'll see it better here on my balcony rather than from your sweet little window."
"Oh, Reed..." She smiled.
